Board of Directors

The Board of Directors exists to guide The Gainesville Community Bicycle Project, Inc. aka "The Kickstand", and meets at least on the first Monday of each month, but perhaps more often as needed. The board makes big-picture decisions about the scope and direction of GCBP, Inc. The Board of Directors creates "Coordinator" positions. Authority for the various facets of the project's objectives are delegated to the persons holding these positions.

The Board of Directors will hear the concerns of the Coordinators and from the general pool of volunteers, and from the community at large--agenda items must be submitted to the Chair one week prior to the meeting. Submitter will be included in discussion but decision making will remain limited to board members. Board meetings are public record and individuals from the volunteer pool and community may attend, but will not be allowed to participate in discussion (unless time warrants) or decision.
